We’re looking for a fabulous XHTML/CSS wizard (m/v)ExtraFilm.com processes over 100 million digital images a year. They all come to us over the internet. And they come from all over the world. That’s why we have websites in 17 countries and 7 languages. Where every month up to 10 million unique visitors come to look at our products and services. It’s also why we have a technological backbone of 50 servers and 6000 Mbps.
We need you to build our e-commerce web interfaces.
Make them functional and efficient. And make them work.
- you’ll be working under supervision of the ExtraFilm responsible
for Design & Looks;
- you’ll convert the graphical mock-ups
from our designers into XHTML and CSS;
- your static websites always
do their job;
- you’ll become an expert of our very own CMS and its links
to the live e-commerce framework;
- cross-browser support and SEO-friendly
build-up are your responsibility;
- your experiments in usability
further improve our websites.
We need you to have these skills:
- you know what usability is and how to improve it;
- cross-browser front-end technologies are your playground: XHTML
and CSS hold absolutely no secrets for you. Of course you can code
them manually;
- any AJAX experience is a strong asset;
- you can design tableless;
- you know browser quirks and how to work around them;
- you always follow W3C standards for web design;
- you have experience in testing and validation of websites;
- you can score as a lonesome cowboy and in a team.
