As a Software Development Team Manager at ExtraFilm.com, you report
directly to the IT eCommerce Manager. You work within the IT Department.
Job description
Together with a team of talented and highly professional colleagues,
you are responsible for the development teams working on the ExtraFilm.com
websites. In this job there will be opportunity for your input and
initiative. You work in Wetteren in a very internationally minded,
rapidly expanding company.
Tasks Your management role consists of:
- distributing work among developers;
- controlling the deadlines and the resulting code;
- co-ordinating work;
- reporting to management;
- internal delivery management (delivery for testing and for distribution).
Your technical role consists of:
- understanding the application functionalities;
- developing the specific application modules;
- defining the technical architectures;
- analysing business requirements and the resulting technical implementations;
- evaluating the work load for future developments (as needed for
offers);
- auditing the source code (.NET, VB, C#, C++).
Requirements
- ‘senior’ experience in .NET, MS-SQL, C#, VB Framework
and technologies;
- experience as a team leader;
- rigorous and pragmatic;
- interested in business application analysis;
- software architect experience;
- willing to do specific developments as well;
- experience with validating and testing;
- fluent in Dutch and English;
